Hey Followers!

Have an idea for the book, the characters, the plot, or just would like to share your experience? My ask is always open, and anon questions will always be accepted. This book is not going to be written without your contributions. Spread the word to fellow BVB fans or just anybody in general, and tell me what you think!

so as most of you have probably realized, i haven’t been doing much on this blog lately. this is purely because i was beginning to lose faith in BVB due to the fact that a lot of the things i were seeing in them were making me second guess them. before we stitch these wounds came out, the guys seemed like these really down to earth people who loved music and loved their fans. personally, afterwards it kind of looked as if they were letting their new found and rapidly increasing fame to go to their head. it’s almost as if, in my eyes, they had thrown away this timid outer shell now that they pretty much knew that they’d always have fans because hey, let’s face it, hundreds of their fans just like the band because of andy’s face. i mean, yeah, it’s pretty, but to thousands more of us, it was so much more and they just kind of seemed to start turning into different people than the guys i had always seen them as.

however, i heard fallen angels a week ago, and my faith has been restored. the song brought me back to the days when i was struggling heavily with depression and it reminded me that this is no longer just about the guys. they’ve created an army, and it made me realize that they may be acting a bit different, but even if they were to become monsters, they still would have helped all those people they have, myself included, and will continue to do so. therefore, do not think of the knives and pens project is dead. it is still very much alive. reblog this post, spread the word, and most importantly, never give in.

love, jess.

retrospacejunk-deactivated20110 asked: Okay, great!
I got this idea, that originally stemmed from the title 'the Knives and Pens Project'. I thought that if you could get a bunch of people to write in, and tell their story of how Black Veil Brides have helped them, in one way or another, you could put it in a book...like the Gives Me Hope, or FML stories. Its like a tribute to us...to everybody. Its the story of hope. I know its not that different than what youre writing, but instead of being a fictional story, it would be everyones story...
Just a thought...

I actually love this idea. The only issue with it is getting enough people to contribute to it.

retrospacejunk-deactivated20110 asked: Can you give me a summary of what you have written on the book so far?? I think I have a really rad idea, if of course, youre planning to continue it...

I am still thinking about continuing it. Basically I have the first chapter done, which is just kind of an overview of who the two main characters are. I’d love to hear your idea!

livingalifewecanonlydreamof-dea asked: I wanted to know are you still writing that book? 'Cause I wanted to share my story or participate, in some way.

I’m considering it still, yes. It’d be awesome if you’d like to contribute (:

Never. It’s not the way to deal with sadness or anger. There are more productive things you can and should be doing with your life than spending time and energy sitting around waiting for lockjaw to kick in. If you’re sad, find something that makes you happy and stick with it. You are in control of your life.

Shine On

its a lot easier to be hard on yourself than it is to have a positive mood

i still to this day have never understood why that is

:/

but believing in yourself and having confidence definitely is a better feeling  than the feeling of letting yourself down

i cant stress this enough:

dont let minor setbacks keep you from reaching your goals in life
